- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 cups flour
Directions

1Beat eggs, cream, and milk together.

2Add sugar.

3Sift baking powder, salt and flour and add to mixture to make a soft dough.

4Roll out on floured board.

5Cut into rectangles about 2 1/4 by 4 1/2 inches.

6Cut a slit in kuechla the long way.

7Flip one end through the slit.

8Drop into hot oil and fry like doughnuts.

9Drain on paper towels.

10Once cooled you can coat with sugar or powdered sugar.
