- 2/3 c. blanched almonds, finely ground
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Start heating oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour well a cookie sheet.

3In large skillet combine all ingredients; heat, stirring over low heat until mixture is mushy.

4Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.

5Bake 5 or 6 minutes.

6Remove one at a time quickly.

7Roll up around wooden spoon handle.

8(They get crisp when cool and you have to work fast when taking them off sheet.)

9Also, don't bake too long.

10They'll be slightly brown and soft when you take them out and they run together easily if you put too much, too close on sheet.
