  • 3 pkg. ladyfingers, plain
  • 1 pt. heavy cream
  • 11 oz. cream cheese, room temperature (use one 8 oz. and one 3 oz.)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 can pie filling (Lucky Leaf or other brand)

Directions

    Split the ladyfingers and making sure the rounded side is facing out and the cut side in, line the sides and bottom of a 9 or 10-inch spring-form pan.

    Keep the balance of the ladyfingers.

    Set aside.

    Cream the cream cheese; add vanilla and sugar.

    Cream well. Whip heavy cream until very stiff.

    Fold heavy cream and cream cheese mixture together.

    Pour half the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers.

    Cover this with ladyfingers that were set aside. Cover with all the balance of cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers.

    Top with pie filling.

    Chill in refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
