  • 1 1/8 pounds lamb mince trim
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder 1 to 2
  • 1 2/3 cups peeled tomatoes chopped

Directions

    Combine lamb mince, egg, breadcrumbs and garam masala. Shape into 24 meatballs.

    Heat oil in large pan on high. Fry meatballs 8-10 minutes turning them occasionally. Remove from pan.

    Saute garlic and ginger in pan. Add curry powder and cook 1 minute. Reduce heat to low, then add tomatoes with their liquid. Simmer for 2-3 mins.

    Add meatballs and heat through for about 5 mins.
