  • 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium white onion, chopped
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. basil or Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 lb. ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1/2 lb. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. parmesan cheese, grated

    Cook noodles 15 minutes, then drain. Fry ground beef, garlic, onion, and seasoning. Add tomato paste and water and simmer for 5 minutes. Beat eggs and add ricotta cheese. Use 9 x 13 pan.
