- 12 oz ground beef
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1-7 1/2 oz can tomatoes
- 1- 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 6 dried lasagna noodles
- 1 beaten egg
- 1- 15 oz container ricotta cheese or 2 c cottage cheese
- 1/4 c parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat and onions (drain fat).

2Add tomato sauce, paste and tomatoes.

3Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

4Cook noodles for 10 - 12 minutes, drain and rinse with cold water.

5Combine egg, ricotta or cottage cheese and parmesan cheese.

6Layer 1/2 of the cooked noodles in a 2 qt rectangular baking dish.

7Spread

81/2 of cheese mixture over noodles, then spread 1/2 of meat mixture over cheese.

9Repeat layers.

10Bake in 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.

11Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
