  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 (15 1/2 oz.) jars Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • 12 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 1/2 c. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 c. Provolone cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Brown ground beef, onions and salt until light brown.

    Drain.

    Add spaghetti sauce.

    Simmer 15 minutes.

    Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese to Ragu mixture.

    Cook lasagna noodles according to directions.

    Drain.

    Layer in greased large shallow baking dish as follows: noodles, sauce, Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Provolone cheese.

    Layer again, ending with all cheeses and Parmesan cheese on top.

    Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes, until bubbly all over.

    Let cool 10 minutes to firm up before cutting.
