  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide egg noodles
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 4 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 c. chopped onion

    Brown meat and onion.

    Stir tomato sauce and seasonings into meat mixture.

    Simmer 15 minutes.

    Cook noodles 3 to 5 minutes; drain and combine with sour cream.

    Start with noodles and alternate layers of noodles, meat and cheese.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Remove foil and sprinkle cheese on top and cook for additional 15 minutes.
