Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground meat
  • 2 jars Ragu garden-style spaghetti sauce
  • 3/4 c. chopped bell peppers
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • Tony's seasoning to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese (small curd)
  • 1 large box lasagna noodles
  • Colby cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Monterey Jack cheese
  • mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg

Directions

    Cook meat with bell peppers, onion and seasonings.

    Drain meat, then add to Ragu sauce and cook on low.

    Cook noodles according to package directions.

    Grate cheeses and keep in separate bowls. Spray a large casserole dish with Pam, then layer bottom with noodles.

    Add one egg, salt and pepper to cottage cheese.

    Mix cottage cheese and meat sauce together.

    Layer noodles with meat sauce.

    Put a little of each cheese on top of meat mixture.

    Put a layer of noodles on top of cheese.

    Alternate ingredients until dish is full.

    The last layer should end with the cheese.

    Bake lasagna at 375° until cheese is melted.
