- 2 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 Tbsp. whole basil
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 10 oz. lasagna noodles
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 3 c. Ricotta cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Directions

1Brown meat; add garlic, basil, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste.

2Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

3Cook noodles and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients except Mozzarella cheese.

4Place half of the noodles, cheese mixture, Mozzarella cheese and meat sauce in 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Repeat, using remaining ingredients. Bake for 30 minutes at 375°.

6Serves 8 to 10.
