Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chopped meat
  • 1 jar Ragu sauce
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 brick Mozzarella cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown meat. Add all ingredients, except noodles and cheese. Season to taste.

    Simmer for at least 3 hours.

    Do not skim off too much fat, or lasagna will be dry.

    Cook noodles as directed on package, but add 1 tablespoon oil to prevent sticking.

    Place in pan as follows:

    layer of noodles and layer of cheese.

    Repeat, ending with cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.
