  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. wide lasagna noodles
  • 3 c. large curd cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese or American cheese or 1/2 each

    Add the next 6 ingredients; simmer, uncovered, until thick (about 1 hour).

    Cook the lasagna noodles in boiling water until tender; drain noodles and rinse in cold water.
