  • 1 lb. Italian Sausage or ground beef
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomatoes
  • 1 (10 oz.) lasagna noodles
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella Cheese, sliced thin

Directions

    Brown meat, slowly and drain off excess grease.

    Add garlic, (1 Tbsp.) parsley, basil, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered until thickened - about 45 minutes.

    Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender (10 -12 minutes).

    Drain and rinse in cold water.

    Combine eggs, pepper, parsley, and parmesan cheese.

    Spoon 1/2 noodles into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Spoon 1/2 of egg mixture over noodles.

    Layer 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese slices over mixture.

    Spread 1/2 of meat mixture over cheese.

    Repeat layers once.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
