  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • clove of garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 6 oz. tomato paste
  • 6 oz. water
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 16 oz. pkg. lasagna, cooked
  • 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 c. American cheese
  • 3 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

    Brown beef with garlic and oil in saucepan; drain.

    Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, parsley and seasonings; mix well. Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Spread 1/4 of meat sauce in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Layer noodles, cheeses and remaining meat sauce 1/3 at a time in prepared dish.

    Bake, covered, at 350° for 40 minutes.

    Bake 5 minutes longer, uncovered.

    Let stand several minutes; cut into squares and serve.
