- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/3 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 lb. shredded Mozzarella
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- pepper to taste
- 9 lasagna noodles
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown beef.

2Drain.

3Stir in tomato sauce, paste, water, 1 tablespoon parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt and basil, oregano, pepper and sugar.

4Simmer 25 minutes.

5In another bowl, mix 1/4 of Mozzarella cheese and mix with cottage cheese, egg and remaining parsley, salt, basil.

6In 9 x 13 pan, layer 1/4 meat sauce, 3 noodles (cooked), 1/3 cottage cheese mixture, 1/3 Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan.

7Repeat layering 2 more times. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

8Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
