  • 6 to 8 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 large jar extra thick Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • 1 small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes, drained and crushed
  • 1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large bag Mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Boil lasagna noodles in water according to directions on the box and drain.

    Cook ground beef, sausage and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until done and drain.

    In a large pan, combine Ragu spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, garlic powder, oregano, basil, whole tomatoes, ground beef and sausage.

    Heat over low heat.
