  • 1 lb. ground beef, pork and veal
  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 2 lb. Ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 (28 or 29 oz.) cans tomato puree
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 lb. lasagna

Directions

    Saute meat and sausage in oil.

    Then add to sauce (tomato puree, garlic, salt and pepper).

    Cook on low-light for 2 to 3 hours.

    Cook lasagna according to directions on box.

    Mix the Ricotta and eggs.

    Shred Mozzarella.

    In a deep 12 to 13-inch lasagna pan, add sauce, then lasagna, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese.

    Bake in oven at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Serves six to eight.
