- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Romano cheese
Directions

1In a fry pan crumble beef and sausage; fry until brown.

2In a big saucepan put first 11 ingredients as in spaghetti sauce.

3Cook noodles in a separate pan approximately 18 minutes; then drain. Place 1/2 cup of the noodles in bottom of a large baking dish; add and spread 1/3 of meat mixture, 1/2 of Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.

4Repeat layer again (noodles, meat mixture and cheeses).

5Put remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with Romano cheese.
