Ingredients

  • 3 lb. ground turkey or 1 1/2 lb. turkey and 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 cans tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 lb. whole grain lasagna noodles
  • 1 pkg. low-fat Mozzarella cheese
  • fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook meat, onion and garlic.

    Drain.

    Add spices, tomatoes and paste.

    Cover and simmer 40 minutes.

    Cook noodles and drain. Alternate - start with sauce, then noodles and layer, end with sauce.

    Top with cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
