Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can (3 1/2 c.) tomatoes
- 2 (8 oz.) cans (1 c.) seasoned tomato sauce
- 1 or 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix (Spatini)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz. lasagna
- 1 (6 or 8 oz.) pkg. thin sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. container cream-style cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat.

2Add the four ingredients. Cover and simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt to taste.

3Cook noodles in boiling salt water until tender. Drain and rinse in cold water.

4Place half the noodles in an 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.

5Cover with 1/3 of the sauce, add 1/2 the Mozzarella, then 1/2 the cottage cheese. Repeat layers, ending with sauce.

6Top with Parmesan cheese.

7Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

8Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
