Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1/2 lb. sausage (Owens)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 small jar Ragu
  • 1 pkg. Italian spaghetti mix (dry)
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 small (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • oregano
  • basil
  • garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles

Directions

    Brown meats with onions and garlic; drain.

    Add tomato paste, Ragu and sauce mix.

    Add sugar.

    Season with oregano, basil and garlic powder to taste.

    Simmer for 20 minutes.

    Add the oil to water and boil lasagne according to package (1/2 box).

    Mix softened cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream together. Layer half noodles, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 cheese mixture.

    Repeat layers.

    Top with grated Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
