Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (24 oz.) container Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles, cooked and well drained

    Cook and stir ground beef; drain off all fat.

    Add spaghetti sauce to meat and mix well.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Mix Ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes and oregano.

    In an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, layer 1/4 each of noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese and the cottage cheese mixture.

    Repeat 3 times.

    Add meat sauce over top and sprinkle (cover well) with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.

    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
