- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. carrots, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. sweet basil
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- large container cottage cheese (approximately 3 c.)
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- lasagne noodles, boiled according to directions
Directions

1Brown ground meat and Italian sausage.

2Add onion, bell pepper, celery and carrots.

3Drain.

4Add oregano, basil, pepper, peeled tomatoes and tomato paste.

5Let simmer for 30 minutes.

6Let cool and refrigerate overnight.

7Beat eggs.

8Add cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley and pepper.

9Layer.

10Layer noodles, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese mixture and sauce.
