  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 16 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. dry spaghetti sauce mix
  • 12 lasagne noodles
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 oz. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

    Brown meat and drain fat.

    Add salt, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce mix and tomatoes.

    Simmer, uncovered.

    Boil noodles 10 minutes and rinse in cold water.

    Drain.

    Alternate layers of meat mixture, noodles and cottage cheese.

    Top with sauce and Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

    Bake in 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes until cheese is golden.
