  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 small cans tomato paste plus 1 can water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 box lasagne noodles
  • 1 small container cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 lb. grated cheese

    Brown ground beef; drain.

    Add onion and saute.

    Add garlic, tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper, rosemary and Worcestershire sauce.

    Simmer 30 minutes.

    Cook noodles; drain and rinse.

    Mix cottage cheese with eggs.

    Start layering in oblong pan.

    Use 1/2 meat mixture first.

    Add layer of noodles, 1/2 cottage cheese mixture and grated cheese.

    Repeat for second layer.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350° until cheese is bubbly and browning.
