- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes (20 oz.)
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 lb. small curd cottage cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 10 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked as directed
Directions

1Brown the beef and onion in the oil.

2Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, parsley, sugar, salt, basil and oregano to the beef.

3Simmer together 1/2 to 1 hour on low.

4Oil baking dish.

5Starting with noodles, arrange as many layers as possible of noodles, sauce, Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese.

6End with noodles and sauce. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
