- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. walnut halves or large pieces
Directions

1Combine both sugars and sour cream in a medium saucepan.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring, until sugar is dissolved.

3Continue cooking, without stirring, until temperature reaches 238° or until a little dropped in cold water forms a soft ball.

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla and nuts.

6Stir gently until all nuts are coated.

7Turn onto wax paper.

8With a fork, separate the nuts. Let dry.

9Makes about 1 pound.
