Layer Potatoes

  • 6 potatoes
  • 3 hard-cooked eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped ham
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream

Directions

    Cook potatoes in boiling water.

    Pare and slice and arrange 1/3 of the slices in a greased baking dish.

    Over the slices of potatoes, place the sliced eggs and sprinkle with salt.

    Cover with half the sour cream.

    Make another layer of potato slices, then one of ham, then cover with rest of the sour cream.

    Finish with a final layer of potatoes.

    Top with the crumbs mixed with melted butter.

    Add the heavy cream.

    Bake in hot oven at 450°

    for 30 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
