Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, broken
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1/2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, thawed
  • 2 c. mayonnaise, mixed with 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 6 to 8 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In a bowl, layer first 8 ingredients in the order given. Chill for 24 hours.

    When ready to serve, salt to taste.

    Toss and top with Parmesan cheese.

    Must be made a day before serving.
