Ingredients

  • 1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. chopped green peppers
  • 1 c. frozen peas, cooked, drained, cooled and dried
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled

Directions

    Place the first 5 ingredients in layers in large oblong dish. Spread mayonnaise over the top.

    Sprinkle sugar, cheese, then bacon over the top.

    Cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
