Ingredients
- 1 head lettuce, finely shredded
- 1 small onion, sliced in rings
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, cooked, cooled and drained
- 1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 8 slices crisp bacon
- 6 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a glass bowl, layer ingredients in order given.

2After layer of peas, spread mayonnaise over top to seal.

3Sift Parmesan cheese over mayonnaise. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

4When ready to serve, add sliced eggs and bacon (crumbled). Toss to blend.
