Layered Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 c. shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/2 c. medium shell macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 2 c. chopped cucumber
  • 2 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz. each) cans tuna or chicken, drained and flaked
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. green peas, thawed and drained
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) Kraft natural shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing or amount to suit taste

Directions

    Use a large clear bowl (3-quart).

    Layer lettuce; add salad dressing to shells and put next.

    Layer cucumbers, tomatoes, tuna or chicken, peas and cheese last.

    Refrigerate a few hours before serving.

    Makes 8 servings or a great salad for a party or shower.
