- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cut butter into 2 cups flour and powdered sugar until mixture clings together.

2Press into 9 x 13-inch glass pan.

3Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

4Beat together eggs, sugar, lemon juice and peel.

5Add remaining 1/4 cup flour and baking powder.

6Pour over baked crust.

7Bake at 350° another 25 minutes.

8Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
