  • 3 c. dry bread cubes
  • 3 c. milk, scalded
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. lemon extract
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in order given in greased 1 1/2-quart boiling dish.

    Place casserole in shallow pan of water.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
