- 1 medium bunch broccoli
- 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. margarine
- 1 medium onion, sliced and separated in rings
- 1 1/2 c. thinly chopped celery (optional)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced or crushed (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Directions

1Divide broccoli into florets and stalks.

2Remove woody stems. Steam broccoli until tender, about 3 to 5 minutes.

3Melt margarine in a large skillet.

4Add the onion, celery and garlic.

5Cook until onion begins to brown.

6Remove from heat.

7Add broccoli, lemon juice, peel, salt and pepper.

8Mix well and serve.
