  • 4 egg whites, beaten stiffly
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. orange or apricot juice
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Blend and beat 4 minutes all ingredients except egg whites. Fold in egg whites.

    Pour into greased and floured large angel food pan. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Watch for excessive top browning near end.
