  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. lemon Jell-O (small pkg.)
  • 3/4 c. oil or half oil and half butter
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. lemon juice (fresh)
  • 3 c. powdered sugar (about 2/3 box)

    Beat together for a full 4 minutes in mixer.

    Grease and flour a large 13 x 10-inch pan.

    Bake as directed on cake mix box at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

    When baked, while hot, poke holes in cake with cooking fork, ice pick or toothpick and pour the following (mixed) over the cake:
