- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3 oz. lemon extract
- 1/2 lb. white raisins
- 4 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. candied cherries
- 1 c. candied pineapple
Directions

1Place all fruit in bowl.

2Mix 1 cup flour with fruit.

3Cream butter and sugar.

4Add Karo and lemon extract.

5Alternate flour and eggs.

6Beat well.

7Pour mixture over fruit and nuts.

8Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
