  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Cream the first 3 ingredients; add the yolks, grated rind and juice, then add the milk.

    Beat the 2 egg whites stiff and fold in.

    Pour into unbaked shell.

    Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes. Makes 1 large pie.
