Ingredients

  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 c. celery, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 c. cooked, diced chicken, turkey or pork
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 (19 oz.) can bean sprouts, drained
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • chow mein noodles

Directions

    Cook onions, celery and oil in Dutch oven or large saucepan for 5 minutes.

    Add meat, water, soy sauce and molasses and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add bean sprouts.

    Heat and stir in the cornstarch blended with a little cool water.

    Cook until thickened and serve over chow mein noodles.
