- 1 c. sugar
- 2 lemons, grated rind and juice
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Mix sugar with flour and stir in beaten egg yolks and lemon juice/rind while gradually adding milk. Stir in butter. Set aside. Beat egg whites until stiff.

2Fold into first mixture.

3Pour into a greased 8 x 8-inch Pyrex dish.

4Place in a pan of hot water and bake at 350° until tests done. The top will have appearance of a cake with custard on the bottom.
