- 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 qt. lemon custard ice cream
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 3 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 2 egg whites
Directions

1In medium bowl, mix unflavored gelatine with sugar.

2Add boiling water; stir until gelatine is completely dissolved.

3Stir in lemon juice and 1 teaspoon lemon peel.

4Chill, stirring occasionally, until mixture is consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Add egg whites to gelatine mixture.

5With electric mixer, beat at high speed until light and fluffy, about 10 minutes.

6Chill.
