- 1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix with pudding
- 1 cup crisp rice cereal
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

2Melt butter or margarine over low heat.

3Stir together all ingredients, including butter or margarine, and mix well.

4Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Press flat with thumb.

5Bake for 9 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on cookie sheets one minute. Remove to wire racks to cool.
