- 4 lemons
- 1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Grate and squeeze lemons.

2Put juice and rind in pot with sugar and margarine. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

3Beat eggs and add to lemon mixture.

4Cook for 10 minutes, very slowly, stirring all the time to prevent curdling.

5Cool and fill jars. Put on toast, biscuits, etc., in the morning.
