- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 c. cake flour
- 1/2 lb. cherries
- 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. pecans (4 c.)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 eggs
- 3 oz. lemon extract
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, beating them well.

3Add lemon extract.

4Add sifted dry ingredients and cream mixture.

5Add fruits and nuts (flour lightly), using about 1/3 cup cake flour. Bake in loaf pan at 300° for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or bake in tube pan 2 1/2 hours.
