  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/4 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. pecans, cut fine
  • 1/4 lb. walnuts, cut fine
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 oz. lemon extract
  • 1 pkg. dates, cut fine (8 oz.)

Directions

    Sift flour over fruits and nuts and mix well.

    Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs, lemon extract and floured fruits.

    Mix well. Bake in stem pan at 250° for 2 1/2 hours.
