- 3/4 lb. butter
- 1 lb. sugar (2 1/4 c.)
- 1 lb. flour (4 c.)
- 6 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 box white raisins
- 1 lb. chopped pecans (4 c.)
- 3 oz. lemon extract
Directions

1Dust raisins and nuts with little flour.

2Cream butter and sugar.

3Add beaten eggs a little at a time.

4Add alternately lemon extract, flour, nuts and raisins.

5Cook at 325° for 1 1/4 hours. You can make a large cake or in loaves.

6I like to make this at Christmas.
