  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O lemon pudding and pie mix
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 9-inch pie shell
  • 3 egg whites
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Combine pie mix, 2/3 cup sugar and water in a saucepan.

    Mix in egg yolks.

    Add water.

    Cook and stir to a full boil.

    Cool 5 minutes.

    Blend in butter and lemon juice.

    Pour into cooled, baked pie shell.
