- 6 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. lemon juice
- 2 deep-dish pie shells
Directions

1Bake pie shells.

2Separate egg yolks and whites.

3Beat egg yolks in medium size pot and add sugar and flour.

4Mix well and add milk, water and lemon juice.

5Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.

6Add margarine and mix real good. Pour into pie shells.

7Make meringue and spread over pies.

8Bake at 350° until brown.
