- 24 small new potatoes
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. water
- lemon rind
Directions

1Cook potatoes in skins in salted water until tender (about 25 minutes).

2Drain, cool and peel.

3Combine margarine, sugar and lemon juice in large skillet.

4Heat slowly, stirring constantly, until bubbly.

5Add potatoes.

6Heat slowly, spooning syrup over potatoes until glazed.

7Stir in water; cover.

8Heat 5 minutes longer.

9Spoon into heated serving bowl; sprinkle rind on top. Makes 8 servings.
